We are celebrating the birthday of our volunteer Dona Doroteia, who turned 59 today, December 18th.

The name Doroteia comes from the Greek Dorotheos, combining "doron" (gift, gift) and "theos" (God), meaning "gift of God" or "divine gift", a gift blessed by God, representing spirituality and devotion, and is also the Portuguese form of names like Dorothy.

This lady, daughter of God, has brightened our programs and her small community with her gifts.

She cooks, has good health tips, and her backyard full of edible-medicinal plants has benefited her friends and the neighborhood.

It has a papaya tree that produces papaya fruit to make juice and it also has a mango tree and it also has a quizaca leaf tree and the fruit is called manioc and it produces cassava. Let's all go together to watch the programs with the participation of Dona Doroteia.
