Join us in celebrating #WorldMilkDay June 1, 2021 by Sofonie Dala - Angola

Milk is recognised as an important element of the pastoral civilisations in Africa, where it has not only an economic value, but also a social and cultural value.

let's see how the Angolan kids are celebrating

"Never cry over spilt milk, because it may have been poisoned." 😂🥛

How did it start?

In 2001, World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food product and to celebrate the dairy sector. Since then, the benefits of milk and dairy products have been actively promoted every year around the world, including how dairy products support the livelihoods of one billion people.
